Every Munch Craft flavor starts with the same question founder Zubin Kuvadia kept asking himself: why are "clean" snacks so boring, and "craveable" snacks so full of junk?
An engineer's problem to solve
Zubin holds a PhD in Chemical Engineering and an MBA in Business Analytics, with 15+ years spent working at the intersection of science and business. Snack nuts should have been the easy category — naturally great, minimally processed — but most packaged options on the shelf were either fried in cheap seed oils, coated in sugary syrups, or just flavorless. There was a real gap between "healthy" and "actually good."
Bringing in the "Flavor King"
Rather than solve it alone, Zubin partnered with the person who'd spent 40 years doing exactly this professionally: his father, a food scientist and technologist he calls, simply, the Flavor King. Together they split the work the way you'd expect — his father brings the culinary artistry and decades of flavor development experience, Zubin brings the engineering rigor. Every flavor, from Peri-Peri Lime to Salted Caramel to Coffee Mocha, is the product of that combination: a scientifically balanced flavor profile that never leans on any single note too hard.
Houston based brand
Munch Craft — the flagship brand from AuraVi Foods — is Houston-based and Houston-warehoused. The nuts themselves are sourced, air-roasted, and packaged at a dedicated FDA-registered partner facility in Western Maharashtra, India, home to some of the world's finest cashews, then shipped and fulfilled out of Houston, Texas. Most of the brand's early wholesale partners — 15+ retail doors and counting — are right there in the Houston area.
